Peggy Sitzmann

Peggy has been an active community member in Le Mars for over ten years and she is excited to be turning that community focus toward a career in real estate. It was a natural fit to join forces with her husband Shane and his parents, Lance & Patty to grow the Sitzmann Real Estate Team. This allows her to carry out the values of hard work, integrity, and outstanding customer service into helping clients buy and sell real estate.
Peggy has enjoyed teaching, coaching and originating residential mortgage loans for over eighteen years. This background, coupled with a passion for individualized customer service, has provided her with valuable skills that she uses daily in real estate negotiations, educating homebuyers and sellers and effectively marketing the team’s listings. Peggy builds strong relationships with her clients through her professionalism, attention to detail, and commitment to always put her client’s needs first.

Outside of real estate, Peggy takes great pride in giving back to the community, a trait she acquired from her parents. Peggy is a proud member of the Floyd Valley Foundation, Co-Chair of the Floyd Valley Foundation Golf Outing, serving on the Floyd Foundation Wine & Beer Tasting event, City of Le Mars Planning and Zoning Board, 2021 RAGBRAI Executive Chair for Le Mars and assists Gehlen Catholic with Business Drive and Heart of the Community Campaign. In the past, she has served as the Le Mars Chamber President, member of the Le Mars Business Initiative Corporation and the Le Mars Mainstreet Committee.

Peggy enjoys spending time with her son Baylen, her husband and family. She grew up on an Iowa farm with her parents, five sisters and three brothers, so she always looks forward to large family gatherings for a great time! She also finds enjoyment in walking the family dog Boji, being active, baking goodies to share with others and attending Creighton basketball games.
